July 23 - Area fire companies were called to Cheyenne Dr today for a dumpster fire that spread to the side of the house. HTPD patrol extinguished the bulk of the fire and kept it at bay until responding Valley fire fighters arrived. Pictured here, Chief Engineer John Novak, FF Bill Haynes, FF Matt Peck, and FF Joseph Toth III, cooling off under the shade of a tree. Back right is Junior FF Andrew Armington rolling supply hose.

July 23 - Hopewell EMS with HVES were called to this two car MVA on Rt 654 this morning. The drivers both self extricated from the vehicles. It seems the other car may have crossed the double yellow sending the pickup into a gaurd rail and then ultimately rolling onto its roof. Minor injuries reported at the scene and RMAs were obtained by the squads.

July 21 - Crews were called to a Boro field behind a residence today for a brush fire. The grass fire spread quickly to an adjacent hedge row, but as soon as Engine 52 stretched a 1 3/4" preconnect, the fire was knocked down in minutes. The crew saved the fire from engulfing an old shed on the property.

July 12 - A small porch fire was quickly extinguished by responding Officers of HTPD with a garden hose, this hazy afternoon after it was reported by a female at the residence. See more photos in our gallery.

A large warehouse went up in flames June 29 as Tankers from 52 and 53 where called in to assist with the fire. The warehouse was very large, and there were hazmat concerns, as it operated as a mold and die plant. The local water supply had dwindled, a pond was drained and tankers from all over PA and western NJ were called in to assist. Photo courtesy of 6abc.com
