On April 7th, 1911 a meeting was called with the purpose of creating one unified fire company in Hopewell. They decieded that the name would be the Hopewell Fire Department. 100 years later the Hopewell Fire Department is still here and continues to serve our community with fire and medical services. The 100th anniversary is to celebrate the 100 years of service and giving back to the community that we all love.
For the past two years the Hopewell Fire Department has been raising money for the 100th anniversary through our pancake breakfasts, community events, and donations. The parade, fireworks, and the event will be entirely funded by the Hopewell Fire Department. None of the funds from township or borough taxes will be used throughout the event.
